This past week I photographed a great little farm in Plant City. I actually took my kids since they were on Thanksgiving break and they loved it. Not only was the place large and clean, it was on a beautiful farm. While I was there I cuddled the cutest kittens and even grabbed a bag of raw alpaca fur from the owners to spin into soft yarn. Yep this is a hobby not many know that I have.
They had chickens, goats, horses, alpacas and probably more animals that I did not see. They also have a basketball/ picnic area on the property. Afterwards my kids and I ventured to Dinosaur Land which was right down the street. Amazing Place for kids. They loved this place. Look out for a post on this place next :) I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We are still eating leftovers. Yum!

So the holidays are right around the corner and sometimes you just don't have the space for that extra family member. Hotel prices are through the roof and you thinking about putting an air mattress in your daughters room for your mother. Well here is a great listing with Airbnb and although it is a shared house it is very clean. Marjorie your host is such a nice person. She is great with children and has a grand daughter out of state that I am sure she misses. So don't be nervous about meeting new people because 9 out of 10 times it will go better than ever expected.

So these are a few weeks past due but I had the opportunity to photography our local horror Halloween house known as Scream a Geddon which should I remind you is terrifying! Especially Blackpool Prison! So even though the season is over you should plan your visit next year. After asking many of the guest what they thought their response was always "This place is so much better than Howl O Scream at Bush Gardens". Although I cannot compare the two I do have to say that the hands on interaction that you can experience here ( with the supply of a glow stick) makes this place so very scary especially when your grabbed in the dark and thrown into a dark room or a prison cell!
Not only did I photograph this crazy place but I actually worked here for about 2 months which was a ton of fun! I had the opportunity to be a makeup artist. This was one of the best jobs that I have ever had. Going to work at a terrifying haunted house was sure an experience and I plan on going back next year. Not only did I make some money while having fun but so did everyone else. The amount of jobs that this place created locally is amazing. I am sure there were at least 200 actors that had full time jobs for 2 months straight. For many this was their 2nd or even 3rd job that they had and for many this was their only job. Jobs are hard to come by. Especially in a small town or in fact anywhere. As for next year just remember if you need a job more than likely you will have one here. So go support local business and don't forget about this place next year.
